Less blowholes and abrasion resistant
concrete surfaces with Peridrain-Fabric

12.62 m of RUNDFLEX externally and 12.12 m internally were used in four cycles to construct this approximately 220 m³ circular container. The 2.40 m high units were delivered to the site preassembled and extended to a height of 4.80 m on site.
As the concrete surfaces were to be constructed with the fewest possible pores and blowholes, and without the use of a release agent, the site used Peridrain-Fabric.

After only one assembly – the internal formwork units were covered – the drain fabric provided ideal surface results on all four concrete sections. The work after striking was minimal: after drying, the fabric was simply brushed with a broom and could then be immediately used again.

  • Whether in potable water areas, in sewage plants, sewers, sluices, bridges, dams or in the area of water change zones, everywhere where high demands are made on the concrete surface, Peridrain-Fabric is used.
    Working function - Peridrain-Fabric:
The fabric structure leads excess mixing water out of the perimeter zone of the concrete. This reduces the water-cement ratio. The result is a very high surface quality through a reduction in blowholes and fine pores (capillary pores). In addition the compressive strength increases in the perimeter zones, the concrete surface is more abrasion resistant and also resistant against defrosting salts.
