With its height of 112.50 m the Akköprü Dam numbers among the largest dams in Turkey and will supply the province of Mugla with energy and water. The site lies geographically in the southwest of Turkey, not far from the famous holiday region of Köycegiz-Dalaman.
PERI supplied Know-how and formwork systems for the inlet and outlet walls of the diversion tunnel, for the overflow channel and for the bridge over the river. From the very beginning it was clear that the demands for surface quality were very high.
Through the co-operation of PERI and the site, and through the choice of a suitable system, the demands could be fully met.
