Speed of the fast TRIO even shorter
with TRIO Housing
There were only 200 working days available for the contractor to construct this new housing and business building, having altogether 31,460 m³ capacity. It is clear that only a well-contrived construction sequence, using every potential saving, could provide a positive contract balance sheet.
The unit lengths used - 1.80 / 2.70 / 3.60 and
5.40 m - excellently supplemented the proven TRIO framed panel formwork. Equipped with these there was 2,200 m² of wall area formed with TRIO units and 3,300 m² with TRIO Housing. The 27 m of TRIO Housing units employed could be regularly used in a two-day cycle.

TRIO Housing put the site team in the position of activating hidden formwork time reserves, especially as “lost” time on the difficult foundations had to be retrieved with TRIO Housing. |
