Section by section - Special use of standard parts
The base and walls of this 51 m long sand-trap basin were in B 35 concrete that had to be smooth. On the basis of PERI standard parts the Engineers from the Technical Office in Weissenhorn provided a convincing concept that was ideally implemented by the site.
TRIO elements were made into section units by means of BFD alignment couplers and adjusted to the necessary 45° slopes with special steel walings. The MULTIPROP falsework used in a horizontal position served to take the horizontal forces occurring during concreting. The scaffolding consisted of three MULTIPROP units having nine MP 480 props. These were connected by MRK frames and installed by extending or retracting the inner tubes. In order not to endanger the stability of the centre wall, the sections to the left and right of the centre wall were concreted together.
