Easy to understand and assemble PERI systems with inbuilt versatility
The Ford Quality Scheme at Herne Bay involved the construction of a 62m x 35m x 4.70m high underground reservoir, a pumping station and 6km of water pipeline. The 23-week project will provide drinking water for domestic housing in the Herne Bay area. The new reservoir alone used some 101,199m² of faced formwork.
By combining prefabricated and on-site fabricated PERI VARIO wall formwork with PERI''s MULTIPROP falsework system and PERI GT 24 Girder tables for the decking, the contractor was able to maintain speedy and efficient operations at all times.
The versatility of the PERI systems was such that it provided the site team with the facility to achieve more than the design specification requested.
System-integrated advantages of PERI VARIO enable faster erection and high quality results! The rows of slots in the steel walers and couplers provide a continuously adjustable tight panel connection.
