MULTIPROP Falsework – Easy to assemble and with high load capacity
The A5 Nescliffe bypass will provide a safer and healthier environment for the people of Nescliffe in Shropshire by removing 90% of traffic from the village. For the Broomhill Bank Bridge, PERI offered a fast and efficient design service and information back up during early stages of the scheme and assisted in finding efficient solutions to the clients'' problems during all stages of the contract. To speed up construction, the project team decided to cast the bridge deck in just one pour thus bringing forward the removal of the formwork and falsework.
The combination of PERI''s MULTIPROP falsework system and its SRU steel walers on the bridge parapets offered the site a cost-effective solution and dramatically reduced the amount of timber used by more traditional processes. The design was completed within a day and a half, and the materials were on site within a fortnight.
