Olympic village For the Olympic village, a completely new district was created in the open countryside to the north of Athens. Accommodation for about 17,500 athletes has been designed according to passive house standards with high thermal insulation. Despite the extremely tight construction schedules, the high demands on the various plan views, wall heights and units have been fulfilled using TRIO, DOMINO and RUNDFLEX for walls and pillars as well as MULTIFLEX and SKYDECK for the slabs.
